PROJECT OVERVIEW

This project focused on redesigning the DNIPay mobile application to create a more seamless, trustworthy, and user-friendly financial experience. As the Product/UI/UX Designer, I conducted a detailed review of the existing app, identified usability issues, and reimagined the overall structure, flow, and interface. The goal was to improve user navigation, enhance visibility of essential financial information, simplify critical actions like payments and transfers, and elevate the app's visual identity. The redesign aimed to strengthen user confidence, reduce friction across core tasks, and position DNIPay as a modern, reliable, and intuitive fintech solution.

PROBLEM

The previous version of the DNIPay app had significant usability challenges that affected user satisfaction and efficiency. Navigation was complex, key financial information was difficult to access, and the overall visual design lacked consistency. Essential features like onboarding, payments, and transfers involved too many steps, causing frustration and slowing down user tasks. The app lacked clear feedback messages, leaving users unsure whether actions—especially financial ones—were completed successfully.

SOLUTION

I redesigned the DNIPay app with a user-centered approach, simplifying navigation and restructuring user flows to reduce friction. I created a clear visual hierarchy on the dashboard, improved the visibility of key financial information, and streamlined the payment and transfer processes. The onboarding experience was made more intuitive, and consistent UI components were introduced to unify the overall visual design. Additionally, clear success, error, and feedback states were added to enhance user confidence when performing transactions. These improvements collectively transformed the app into a more intuitive, modern, and trustworthy fintech experience.
